Ever since I got myself a Goodreads account my to-be-read pile has grown considerably! I’ve read some great books last year and am looking forward to slowly getting through (and no doubt adding more) some of them this year

In no specific order, here are some of the ones I’m most excited about-

The Third Kingdom, Severed Souls, Warheart

I’ve read the previous 14 books and I’ll be damned if I don’t finish this most awesome of awesome series! I’ve already made a start on The Third Kingdom half-way through December, but might mix it up a bit. I finished The Third Kingdom just before Christmas and haven’t decided what to read next yet, whether I’l continue with Severed Souls or read something different. We’ll see. Either way, I’ll be done by Easter.

I’v heard a lot of good things about this and many promises that this’ll be the best thing I’ve ever read, so I can’t wait to finally get around to it.

Six of Crows

I really want to see what all the hype is about! Was about? Doesn’t matter, I saw enough praise and the blurb was great enough for me to be sold.

The Near Witch, A Darker Shade of Magic

Reads2016.3 A Darker Shade final for Irene

I’ve been meaning to read a book by V.E. Schwab for a little while now and this year is the year I do it!

The Caves of Steel

End of November/Beginning of December I asked on twitter for some sci-fi recommendations since I want to start reading more of it, and this popped up pretty quickly. I’m familiar with the name and the Laws of Robotics, so how I haven’t read this before is a mystery to me!

Consider Phlebas

This one was also recommended to me via twitter, in response to the same tweet for help. It sounds amazing so I can’t wait to start reading.

And then there are all those other books I really want to read as well.

Now my only problem is deciding where to start. I think I’ll just pop them all into a hat and draw names.

What are your must-reads for 2016? Are there any other booksΒ you think I can’t go without?
